Sharp Riding just West of Sayner

Mountain bikers will find trail riding heaven just outside Sayner. Razorback Ridges is a beautiful trail system containing more than 16 miles of trails for cross-country riding. The trails are also open for hiking, and leashed dogs are allowed.

In the winter, the trails are popular for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. You’ll find groomed loops suitable for skiers of all levels, with half dedicated to skate skiing – the other half to classic skiing. Two loops are marked for snowshoeing. The trails are also open to skijoring on Thursday and Sunday afternoons. Restrooms and warming facilities are located at the trailhead in addition to an outdoor ice skating rink for all to enjoy!  Stay in the loop on the trail conditions with our snow report!

To get to the Razorback Ridges, take County Highway N about two miles west from Sayner to the parking area and trailhead on Razorback Road.

The Razorback Ridges is a community project of the Sayner-Star Lake Lions in cooperation with the Wisconsin DNR. No pass is required, but donations are appreciated.

  • At the intersection of Hwy 155 and Hwy N, head west (left). Continue approximately 2 miles to Razorback Road on the right. Park at the trailhead just past The Corner Store on the left.

  • The total length is approximately 16 miles, with loops of varying lengths.
